About this game
Addams Family was released by Bally Midway WMS in 1992.
Description
Addams Family is a Pat Lawlor pinball machine from 1992, featuring a four flipper layout, and numerous difficult shots which are Pat Lawlor specialties. It is perhaps the most successful pinball machine in history.
Trivia
Addams Family was the highest selling pinball machine of all time. The upper left flipper (Thing's Flipper) uses a primitive machine learning setup in order to accurately aim the pinball to the GRAVE target on the right during "Thing Flips."
Instructions
The goal in Addams Family is to collect 13 mansion rooms, with the 13th being the tour the mansion (wizard mode). You can collect mansion rooms by shooting the electric chair when lit, or the swamp. The bear ramp relights the chair lights.
This cabinet
Holy grail Addams Family.
Running Gold roms, with some additional tasteful mods such as:
Pinsound, Art Blades, 3D Printed book and thing signs, pit accelerators.
We found this game near Chicago and drove all the way out to get it, in celebration of Sam getting her PHD. It was our longest arcade road trip together.
