Trivia
Atari's only Laserdisc based game.
The Philips laserdisc player had a notorious tendency to break down, thus many Firefox games were converted or junked. The most common failure is due to fallen magnets from the laserdisc optics, but this can be fixed.
Both the upright and the cockpit versions have stereo headphone jacks and volume control knobs. The upright jack/knob is located below the control yoke and the cockpit jack/knob was under the control yoke as well, but it is hard to spot unless you bend down for a better look. And audio cassette recorder can be connected to the jack to record the game sounds with almost perfect quality.
Instructions
You control an experimental military fighter through various terrain, including snow-capped mountain valleys, over-seas, and rugged land. The objective is to shoot up enemy fighters, as well as fuel targets to gain enough fuel to complete the stage.
This Machine
All original upright. Game works with repaired original laserdisc player, but amplifone raster monitor is touchy.
